Do you remember your first kitesurfing lessons?
They were great and you evolved more or less quickly right? You went from not being able to fly a kite, to being a totally incredible mega kitesurfer doing huge 20m jumps in 3 days …… Or probably not.
For most of us, just normal people getting to that level is going to take A LOT of work. However, there is a good way we can improve, and in general it will be much faster than trying to learn it yourself. Therefore, I encourage you to give advanced kitesurfing lessons, to evolve as a super kiter.
During the first days of your kitesurfing lessons, you learned a lot and now you sail very well, but becoming a professional takes longer than your instructor taught you in the full kitesurfing course.
The priority of these priority courses is to take you to a level where you are safe on the beach / in the water; where you will not harm yourself or those around you with your inexperience. However, it shouldn't be a rule in kitesurfing schools that when you have finished your beginner classes, you will never need an instructor again.
But why stop there?
Why don't you think it's worth investing your time and money to pay for advanced kitesurfing lessons? What makes an instructor a great beginner instructor is the ability to spot problems and explain how to fix them, a skill that works just as well for a back roll or a bend to blind.
Maybe you are currently trying the back-rolls and you have been 6 months, surely if you invest a few hours with a qualified instructor, there will be a big difference and you will surely get it faster.
An instructor can usually tell you what your main mistake is just on one try or two, and then they can spend the rest of the time helping you correct it and any other little problems. For the kitesurfer who is trying the tricks it is difficult to know what he is doing wrong, but from the outside, it is quite easier to assess the problem and give some advice to make it work.
Kitesurfers who decide to take advanced kitesurfing lessons say that the best thing about having an instructor is that it really forces them to do the trick . It might sound stupid, but how many times have you been super excited to try a trick before the session, went in the water, got it wrong, even hurt, and then stopped trying? This has happened to me, and I know that almost all other kitesurfers have done the same at one point or another. When you've paid for a lesson, you're going to keep trying for sure!
But I understand that this is not for everyone, but for those who want to advance safely and quickly, advanced kitesurfing classes are a lot of fun, you will learn things that you think are impossible and you will probably end up enjoying your time in the water more, so think about it. .
